Obviously, I didn’t hire my bridal party as a vendor, however they all did an amazing job they deserve an honourable mention! Plus, they double up as a DIY crew, so we totally won. The bridesmaids = my gfs did table centrepieces including the wrapping of twine on the bottles, the floral arrangement and the tags that were tied to the bottles. The guestbook table props were all done up by them, even the flowers on our wedding cake. Even my bridal bouquet! One of them even marked out the floor with tape of where the bridal party is suppose to stand during our second march in for the throwing of the flower petals. They co-ordinated the whole wedding with the help of the groomsmen while still looking pretty! So many of our guests complimented on their skirt/kain which I got at Arab Street for $7/m. They are up for hire if anybody is interested ;p
The groomsmen did more of the technical co-ordination for the wedding day. Managing the sound system, taking care of the equipment for the performers, timing issues and basically whatever Faizal needs, they took care of it. The groomsmen were also wearing matching pocket squares similar to the bridesmaid’s skirts but in blue. They are also up for hire, handsome right?
With regards to my henna, my best friend actually gifted it to me. We got AdornedSG also known Ameerah. I stumbled upon her through someone’s blog and through instagram and told my best friend about it. She came to my house and did for me and my family. She was so good and she could do practically anything. I didn’t want to choose the traditional henna designs so I picked something off pintrest that she did a good job replicating. I picked something more of a bohemian vibe. Do visit her instagram or contact her at email@example.com for bookings!
